GPS-tracks of the bridge of Millau, France

The bridge of Millau, presently the highest of the world, went into service late 2004. I visited the bridge a few day after it opened for the public. I have tracked my tour with my GPS. The track data was visualized using the program TTQV which can render the track into all kind of maps. Because of copyright issues it is not possible to show the results using scanned maps here. But I found a way to create a kmz-file for Google Earth to show the track. The kmz opens with a view similar to the image on the left. Press the play button to fly along the track.

The building is a major tourist attraction in the area. Even though it was the day before New Year´s Eve all mparking lot were crowded.
